This is a striking sub-tropical Cliff Brake with long, black stipes and rachis and a very handsome and regularly symmetrical structure to its fronds . Each mature pinna almost resembles an entire bipinnate frond in itself, suspensed by thin black veins from the long, wiry black stem and the fronds have an almost semi-gloss sheen.
