Polypodium vulgare 'Bifido Multifidum'
This handsome polypody is a selection from P. vulgare, and has lightly forked or crested fronds that emerge a bright lime green and fade to deep green as the fronds mature. Fronds are fairly upright, emanating from a creeping rhizome.

Frond Condition: Wintergreen (dormant in dry months)
Root Type: Decentralized Creeping Rhizome
Mature size: 18” long fronds, spread of approximately 2’; slowly colonizing
Origin: Selected form from Europe and the U.K., P. vulgare is also found in Asia and Africa
Cultural Requirements: Part Sun to Part Shade, Moist to Dryish; prefers a period of dry dormancy in the hot summer months. Epiphytic, prefers good drainage or site on slopes, trees, moss.
